Parker graduated from preschool

Parker graduated from Preschool at the end of May. I cried. I didn't know I would. I don't usually cry at these things, but I just can't believe how fast it went. He starts Kindergarten the end of August. In a month. My mom told me that once your first kid starts school, all of the sudden they will all be in school. It makes me sad that it is happening so fast. I will have a first grader and a kindergartener this school year. They will both be gone from 7:45am to 2:45pm. It will be weird. Staucie did really well her first year of all day school, but I think Parker will have a harder time getting used to it. He is crankier then Staucie. I see some cranky afternoons ahead.

The kids sang cute songs to us and then Miss Candy handed out diplomas and said a few things about each child. She said Parker was quiet and great at following instructions. He also has great handwriting and does neat work.

Congratulations Parker!

Soccer Team Party

We had a end of the year soccer team party at our house with the families. I was nice to visit with the parents while all the kids played. We had dinner and played instead of practice before our last game.

Soccer!!!!

Staucie and Parker were able to play soccer this past spring. I volunteered Daniel to be their coach. I think he enjoyed it. He was a great coach. Staucie was older than the team but since it was her first time playing they allowed her to play "down" with Parker's age group. Plus, I told them if they put them on the same team my husband would coach. It was a lot of work, but the kids had fun and learned a lot about the sport their dad loves.

Bensen kicking before the game. He had a hard time just watching.

Watching the game. Addie liked to scream and cry during most of the games.
Some of the team. There were eight of them.
Lined up while Coach Lees is introducing the team before the game.
 Go Tigers & Alligators!
(they couldn't agree on one name so we had two)

It was too cute!

Jared is the Ironman

We got to have a fun visit with Jared and Bethany and their girls because Jared participated in the Ironman here in The Woodlands. In case you are wondering what that entails... It is a 2.45 mile swim, a 112 mile bike ride, and a 26.2 mile run. Yikes! It was very fun to have them here.

The kiddies the night before.

Summer was super happy to have Tessa "attacking" her. He he.

The Race Day.

This is when we found Jared and we are getting ready to go back to our cars.
This was just a "practice" Ironman for Jared. He was not able to complete this one, but a few weeks later he finsihed one in Idaho and became The Ironman. Amazing that these people can do this. It was fun to see it all when they were here and we were especially glad to spend some time with them.

Cute kids

This was on Addie's birthday. We went to the mall and played.
 Two-year-old
She put her baby in the boat and then left to play. I guess baby wanted to sit in the boat.
Staucie and Addie sharing a swing after school at the park.
Addie said, "I wash my feet." Then she climbed up onto the counter...
 And washed her feet.

Bensen was trying to catch the butterfly that likes my flowers.
