Cute kids

This was on Addie's birthday. We went to the mall and played.
 Two-year-old
She put her baby in the boat and then left to play. I guess baby wanted to sit in the boat.
Staucie and Addie sharing a swing after school at the park.
Addie said, "I wash my feet." Then she climbed up onto the counter...
 And washed her feet.

Bensen was trying to catch the butterfly that likes my flowers.

Addie turned TWO

Addie turned two on May 4th. I can't believe it. No more babies in this house. Crazy. She of course is still my baby.

She is definitely two. She likes to take on the "terrible two" roll. She is great at throwing fits and has some attitude. There is also some adorableness in there too. She makes us laugh. Sometimes she'll say something and Staucie and I will look at each other and laugh. It is fun to watch her and Staucie play and laugh together. There is nothing like a sister. I sure love mine.

I am grateful for Addie's blanket. It helps to calm her fits most of the time. I cannot go anywhere with out it. I most definitely regret forgetting it at home sometimes. Although, lots of the time the blanket does no good as she sits or lays screaming on the ground or floor. Lovely in public.

We sure do love her. We have lots of pictures from her birthday because I hired Brittany as the photographer. She did a great job getting our broken camera to take some pictures. (It is officially a goner now.)

Happy Birthday Miss Addie!

May... Addie's last day being ONE

I finally have made it to May on my blog...
The day before Addie's second birthday Bensen dropped my camera on the tile floor and the lens was open. It is broken. It was one of those moments when you tell your kid to put it down so they don't drop it or spill it and they say, "I not drop/spill it." And then... bam, it happens.

Here's my Addie the last day she was ONE.
The 2nd birthday is my least favorite.
It broke my heart to have my last baby turn TWO.

It's been a little rough lately and I just wanted to add, that I am grateful for the temple. I am grateful to live near by the Houston temple. Daniel and I take turns going each month. May was my month. It feels so nice to be inside the temple and feel at peace no matter what is going on in life.

A good bump on the head

One Saturday after the kids' late afternoon soccer game, and Daniel was gone, I was getting the kids out of the car and Parker took off on the scooter and ran into the neighbor's newspaper that was on their driveway and he flew over and landed on his head. I didn't actually see it happen because I was still getting the younger two out of the car. Our other neighbors came out because they heard him screaming. It swelled up real fast. It did not look good, but he was okay.
It took a long time to heal all the way and he was embarrassed by it because people would freak out when they saw him. He would always ask me to tell whoever it was, what had happened.
The next day the swelling look way better.
But on Monday the swelling moved down to his eyes. He ended up with slight black eyes too.
Poor kid. He wears his helmet now when he rides the scooter.

Pictures at the end of April

Addie stole my shoes
After she threw a good fit and got all sweaty from it, I was able to slick back her hair into a ponytail. It is so cute but she always messes up her hair when I do it.

 Fun at a park.

 I love her chubby cheeks.

Kindergarten program and field trip

Staucie had her Kindergarten program in April. It was cute, but hard to see her. There are ten kindergarten classes in her school so there were a lot of kids up there and we were in the way back while the other three ran around. They sang cute songs and a couple kids from each class had some lines about why they like kindergarten.
This was me trying to zoom in on her. She has a bow on her head.
And this was our actual view.

On Friday of the same week (I think) we went on Staucie's field trip with her. They went to Old MacDonald farm. The kids had fun, but it was kinda crazy for me. The parents that came and volunteered each had two or three kids to take around with them. I just showed up at the place in hopes that I wouldn't have to take on extra kids (I did tell her teacher I would be there), but she gave me an extra kid and said she was well behaved. So I had 5 kids and they were all different ages. They all wanted to go somewhere different at the same time. It was not that fun trying to keep track of all of them. You cannot push a stroller around either because it is all grass. Hopefully the kids had fun.
