Outside, Finally

We have been able to play outside without dying of heat. Yesterday was a little too hot, but some of the days lately have been a lot cooler because of the rain. And two of the days the kids wore jackets because the breeze was cool. One of the days it rained all day but in the late afternoon it had stopped and we walked down the street and splashed in puddles.

Swung around poles.
Bensen kicked his feet in the stroller while watching the kids and enjoying the fresh air.
On a different day, one of our neighbors was out skateboarding and Staucie and Parker loved watching him, especially Staucie. Then he started jumping off the back of a trailer which almost gave me a heart attack because I didn't want to see him fall. Staucie commented loudly every time he jumped off. She would say, "Whoa! He jumped big!" She kept stopping to watch him and saying "wow" and "whoa" loudly with every jump. It was really cute. I never want to see my kids do something like that. I will be yelling at them to not do it every time. Daniel will have to watch those things :)
Parker checking out a puddle.
More puddles.
Squirting water into the back of Staucie's bike.
Takes lots of concentration.
She is hard to get pictures of because she won't hold still.
Vroom!
Aaahh, the baby. He was tired but wouldn't take a nap, which is like most days.

Cars and Trucks

Most of the time that Staucie is at school Parker and I spend our time playing with cars and trucks. He really likes parking them. He doesn't think I do a good job at parking so he usually re-parks what I do. I have decided that naming him Parker was a good idea. Parker the car parker. Ha. He is a cutie and I enjoy my alone time with him. I think he really enjoys it too.

Happy Birthday to Me, Climber, Snow in Texas

It was my birthday last week and my mom and sister, Tyne, flew out to see me! It was so fun having them here for a week. We took no pictures together because, well, we don't think of those things. My mom paid for me to get my hair done and her and Tyne both bought me some shirts (I haven't been able to have new clothes FOREVER). We did lots of stuff together like make jam, pick out material for the kids' Halloween costumes, go to IHOP for breakfast, and one night Daniel stayed home with the kids so we could go to dinner and do some window shopping at the outdoor mall. My mom and Tyne also watched the kids the night of my birthday so Daniel and I could go out. We went to dinner and then he bought me an exercise bike. I have been wanting one because I need to exercise more and my rheumatologist said that a stationary bike is best for my joints. We found a real cheap one at Wal-Mart. It was a great week and I miss them so much!

This birthday has made me feel older. I finally feel like I am not 18 anymore. I mean, I hope I am a lot more mature then I was at 18, but even with that I still felt no different then I did 10 years ago. I am now starting to feel like I am old enough to have 3 kids. Maybe its the spider veins in my legs or the endless amounts of stretch marks from having kids or that all my joints hurt including my toes... I am very happy with where I am in my life so getting older is a good thing.

Staucie and Tyne made my Birthday sign.
Bensen is climbing everything, but he is not very stable.
He climbed into his toy box.
Staucie insisted that it was SNOWING so her and Parker bundled up.
I am pretty sure it was over 90 degrees outside :)

PrEsChOoL

Staucie started preschool last Tuesday. She LOVES it. When I told her this morning that she was going to school she said, "Again? Three times?" And then she got really excited!! And when I pick her up she is really happy. I am glad she is loving it. We bought her a new backpack that she had been playing with for awhile before she actually went to school. She loves to wear it out to the car and then put it on to walk into preschool. We found a lady who teaches in her home and it looks like most of the other kids go to our church. There are only 6 kids in her class. And she LOVES it!

Staucie says, "Thank you," to all those who made her preschool this year possible.

Staucie

I am sure we are all tired of seeing my mosquito bitten leg...

Staucie loves to make up things to play and she is always making Parker play along too and MOST of the time he obliges. One of her latest is "Monsters." The other day I heard her saying: "Parker, you need to run away from the Monster. You need to be safe. I don't want you to get hurt because I like you." I usually tell her she needs to be safe and then she asks why and I tell her because I like her.

One day she told Daniel that she saw ants and so he ran to go see and she said, "Daddy, I am just pretending." She "finds" ants all the time.

The other day I found a dead cockroach under the couch and Staucie was fishing over the side of the couch and I told her to be careful because there was a cockroach. She then said she was fishing for cockroaches and laughing about it. Meanwhile I was crying about it :) Brittany came over later and disposed of it for me. Thanks Brittany! I can do the baby ones though. They are usually dead when I find them because of Terminex so that's a plus.

Staucie starts preschool next Tuesday. I am excited for her. She picked out a Tinkerbell backpack and wants to put her blankie in it and her water bottle because there is a little mesh pouch on the outside for it.

This is how I found her asleep the other night and I thought it was funny.
She is a wild child and sleeps that way too.

She looks passed out and that is because she goes and goes all day.
