Parker and Daniel went on their first Father & Son Campout the other weekend. It was Parker's first time camping. They got their after dark and shared a tent with someone so they wouldn't have to set their's up in the dark and in the RAIN. It rained the whole night. They hung out under an awning until they went to bed. Daniel set up a movie for Parker to watch in the tent until he fell asleep while Daniel stayed up a little longer.
The tent was leaking and full of water so Daniel put up an umbrella to keep the rain off of them. He said there was a big puddle of water around the air mattress. Good thing they had an air mattress. They didn't get the best sleep.
The rain had stopped by morning.
They went out to the lake.
Some people fished.
And they rode in a canoe.
Next time maybe Bensen can go and it won't rain buckets all night.

Wow, that sure looked fun! Yuck! I'm pretty sure Caleb's glad he missed that one.
What a fun time with Daddy and Parker! He looks so grown up in these pictures!!! Stop letting him grow!! I love the picture of the umbrella in the tent. You can see that it's all wet.
How fun for Parker!!! And for Daniel too??? Daniel, you are such a good Daddy!!!!! And you have darling kids....we love them so much, and miss them!!
Joe said that Daniel was there with Parker, I'm impressed you let them go with such a new baby at home! Glad they had fun!
How fun for them. Knowing boys, rain just makes it all the more fun.
