Staucie turned F-I-V-E!

Staucie turned 5 yesterday. I had told her that she should just stay 4 forever. She agreed to this a while ago. So, on her birthday I said, "Staucie, you turned 5! You said you would stay 4." And she said, "I tricked you!" She is such a cutie. She is so sweet and we are so blessed to have her in our family.

On her birthday, I took the kids to the mall and we went to Build-A-Bear for the first time. Staucie made a bunny that she named Shooting Star and Parker made a dog that I helped him name Spot. And then, of course, we had to go on the MERRY-GO-ROUND! I did this all by myself. Addie didn't not like the loud machine that filled the stuffed animals and pretty much cried the whole time. And you should have seen me get all the kids on the carousel by myself. Luckily, the machine to buy tokens doesn't work very well and I only had to buy two tokens for the 3 kids. They loved riding on the carousel, like always. I was able to get them all on and buckle them with one arm while holding Addie with the other arm. Then I had to ride with the kids so I could stand between the boys, hold Bensen's leg, hold Addie, and hope that my stuff didn't get stolen. Success.
Then we went home and decorated cupcakes. Bensen took a nap while we played a game and Addie tried to take the cards. Then I got Bensen up, put Addie down, and we went outside to play. We had Staucie's request for dinner when Daniel got home.
Then we waited for Aunt Brittany and Lindsay and two cousins to come over so she could open P-R-E-S-E-N-T-S!!!!

Happy Birthday Staucie we love you! No more growing this time!

Happy Birthday Staucie!!! What a beautiful, grown up girl. We love you.
Sorry we missed the day. I think I am out of the loop since I don't get texts. I need to get using my calendar.
So happy for you guys to feel happy in your new house. It looks great and fresh/clean.
