We had family and friends over for an afternoon barbeque for the 4th of July. Fireworks were banned where we live this year because it is so dddrrrryyyy. We bought a canopy for the backyard to have some shade. We had some kiddie pools and a slip and slide. We had lots of food. We had a good time sweating together.

When some of the kids were getting food, Addie was trying to take some. I think she got some rice.

In the background you can see Staucie right after she fell back in her chair. 3 out of our 4 kids did that. Parker did it with his plate full of food. So funny! Excpet I was sad for Addie when she fell.

Look, there are house going up behind us now. Those two aren't done yet, but they are now framing more foundations right behind us. Boo. We have enjoyed having no one behind us :)
Hope everyone had a great Independence Day! Daniel all of the sudden was done and made us all go in. He was too hot. So, everyone went home. I told him he was a bum and a party pooper! It was fun while it lasted though! We (all at the bbq) decided the next bbq will be in the winter when the weather feels nice. ha ha.

Thanks for having us all over! It was so much fun and your grass looks amazing. The kids were so much fun to watch. I still picture Parker falling back with his whole plate of food landing on his stomach. I was trying so hard not to laugh. So cute!
im jealous! looks like a really fun bbq! i love the one of staucie falling in the background! Haha, way to catch it on camera. The one with parker in the pool with all the ladies is pretty funny too!
