Back Outside!

The weather finally feels so good! We are outside everyday again and loving it! Summer finally ended around the middle/end of October. Ugh. Too hot for me. I love the 80 degree weather and low humidity. And now it is even in the 70's and we are wearing jackets some of the time. These pictures were from a couple of weeks ago when we first put on our pants. I think it was still a little on the warm side, but I was tired of shorts!

Bensen is all wet from playing with a bucket of water.

Parker had pants on earlier but he got them wet and went in the house, stripped, and came back out with no pants! I made him go back in to put on some shorts.

Bensen is playing with bubbles.

Halloweeeeeeeeeeeeeeen

My mom was here for Halloween. She came to watch our kids so I could go with Daniel to San Antonio. I had to cut my part of the trip short so I could go home and take the kids trunk-or-treating since Halloween was on Sunday. I came home early Friday morning and then that night we took the kids to our church Halloween party.

Staucie was originally going to be Cinderella and then Little Mermaid. She was going to wear her Sleeping Beauty dress to her friend's princess birthday party, the day before, but then changed it to Little Mermaid. So then for trunk-or-treating she was Sleeping Beauty. It is a good thing we have all these dresses already.

Parker wanted to be a green dragon with brown pokies. We were not successful in finding any dragon costumes and ended up with Pablo from Backyardigans (whom he loves). Since my mom was here I made her alter the Pablo costume, it was too small. Bensen was whatever we put on him which was Parker's dinosaur costume from last year.

Bensen had been running fevers that day so we brought in the double stroller so he could just hang out in that.
I took the kids around while my mom passed out candy with Addie.
Then the kids joined her for a little while. Her leg is in the air because she was afriad Parker would fall off.

Then we came home and looked at all the candy and tried some.

Daniel came home when we were about ready to get them to bed, it was late. They were all nice and sticky.

On Saturday we had a "Halloween Party." Just us. We had pizza for dinner, painted pumpkins, decorated and ate cookies, had a bath and went to bed. Cleaning up was super fun when they all cried about frosting all over their hands. Sprinkles were everywhere. I just hope they had fun...
Bensen was still sick. I showed him how to paint and then he had fun with it.

And then on Halloween, Sunday. We went to church, my mom and I left after Sacrament meeting to put the babies to bed. Bensen was still sick. And then I had to take her to the airport later that afternoon. Boo. When I got back we decided to be naughty and take the kids trick-or-treating to a few houses since Daniel missed the trunk-or-treating. We went to like 6 houses. Then the kids helped us give out popscicles to all the trick-or-treaters. It was a pretty warm night and the popscicles were a big hit. We had a box of 100 and went through most of them.

Happy Halloween!!

Pumpkins

We went to a church down the street on Friday to pick our pumpkins. We have been driving by it for a couple weeks and so the kids were excited to finally go. They just have a bunch of pumpkins laying out on the lawn. It amazes me that they can just leave them out like that all day and night and no one comes and smashes them. We must live in a good town.

It was a bright day so Parker was having a hard time looking up at me :)

And Bensen just never holds still for a picture.

I was holding Addie the whole time so this picture was funny to try and get. I made Staucie hold Addie (she didn't want to). I told her to hold on tight and right after I took the picture, Addie tried to jump off and was hanging upside down while Staucie hung on for dear life. I am glad Staucie hung on tight. After I rescued Addie we laughed about it.

We will be painting our pumpkins again this year. So much easier with little kids :) It will be interesting with Bensen this year though... I am sure he will taste the paint. And they picked really small pumpkins.

She is 5 Months

Addie is already 5 months old. Life is just flying by. The days go by too quick and not much gets done. I would like to keep Addie just like she is forever. She is such a sweet little baby. I just love her to pieces and I love kissing her squishy cheeks!

While we were in New York, Addie found her feet. That is how fast these little things can grow up. You leave for like 3 days and they reach another milestone. Addie is happy to just have her hands and feet and roll around.

Such a cute sleeper.
It is really easy to make her smile.

Parker did it.

Blueberries stain, Parker falls down

Staucie tried to use blueberries for lipstick...
I told Bensen to smile with his blueberry lips and I got this...

Parker is always falling. He just trips a lot while running and falls flat on his face. This time his hands did not stop his face from hitting the pavement. His lip got nice and fat. He didn't mind once it stopped bleeding though. This is the day after...
