Prayers

My brother, Austin and his sweet wife, Amy, are expecting their first baby and she is due February 21st. Amy went to the hospital Sunday night and they found a tumor in her lungs. It has been an emotional last few days. The doctors are 99% sure it is NOT cancerous, but can't do anything now because she is pregnant. They will take the baby early and are hoping to wait until Amy is 37 weeks. She will have to have surgery to remove the tumor after they baby is born and they will remove 2/3 of one side of her lungs. Please keep Amy, their baby, and Austin in your prayers.

Also, pray for my Parker who has had diarrhea for so long that now his poor little bummy is bleeding a little. (He is having lab to work done to make sure he is okay.)

We love Amy and Austin and pray that all will go as well as it can. We pray for that little baby to have strong lungs when she is born and for Amy to have strong lungs too. We pray that the delivery will go smoothly and that surgery will go well, and that Amy will recover quickly and be able to take care of her baby. We love you.

I was shocked and saddened to read this blog today. We will definitely keep Amy and Austin and baby in our prayers! I know her family is going through a lot already. Is there anything I can do to help her since her Mom is busy with her sister? Let me know! Also, keep us informed on sweet Parker! We will pray for everyone.

Just an addition.....I hope that Amy has a good pulmonary specialist. If she needs a second opinion, Grandpa & I have the best pulmonary specialists in Utah County to refer to her. We will surely begin our prayers for Amy.

That is so scary. I'm sorry they have to go through this. Definitely keep us posted. Any updates on Parker and his sweet, sore bum??

Parker's little bum is doing better. It is slow, but better. His doctor called Saturday just to check on him. I thought that was really nice of him to do. I really love the pediatric office that we go to. Parker has been a lot happier now that his bummy and tummy are feeling a little better. Thanks for all the prayers for Austin and Amy.
