Memorial Day Weekend

For Memorial Day Weekend we drove down to St. George to stay with Daniel's grandparents. Daniel's dad was there visiting too. We got there early Saturday afternoon. After dinner Staucie, Daniel, and his dad took Staucie to the park. I stayed at the house with Parker because he was tired and needed to go to bed. Staucie of course LOVED the park and cried when they made her leave.

But then they went to Mark and Danielle's and she played with Ellie and they danced to Mark playing the guitar.
Dancing
Ellie giving Staucie a push.
Grandpa and Parker
On Sunday Grandma made us all dinner. Staucie and Ellie played together.
They liked to play Grandpa's organ.
And then Parker wanted to join them.
We had a good weekend. Thanks Great-Grandpa and Grandma Lees.
And thanks Grandpa for the gas in our car and for playing with us kids. We miss you all, but we will see you again this weekend! Yeah more driving, ha.

Ashley, Lindsay, and Brittany

I have been trying to organize our pictures on our computer because I don't know what Daniel did to them until I took over, ha ha. Anyways, I found these pictures that I think are from around February 2006. The first 3 our in our basement apartment and the last one is dinner at Wingers for Jared's birthday in Feb 2006.

Mary, Ashley, Brittany
Brittany, Matt
Ashley, Mary
Ashley, Lindsay, Brittany, Matt, Jared
(I am in the corner, pregnant with Staucie. I deleted all pictures of me because I was HUGE.)
For those of you who don't know: Ashley, Lindsay, and Brittany are Daniel's triplet sisters. Mary is their friend and Matt is Brittany's now husband. And then of course Jared is Daniel's brother.
And then a video of the 3 girls:

The Kids

Staucie is sporting Aunt Tyne's sunglasses. She kinda looks like a bug, but a cute one!
My Aunt Tana bought Parker these overalls before he was born and she wanted a picture of him in them. So here he is!
Whenever I do laundry the kids follow. They love the laundry room for some reason. I think it is because they can hear water and they LOVE water! Then they get to ride in the basket out to the couch. Parker is sick in this picture so he looks a little sleepy.
The cushion was sideways because it was drying. Staucie decided to pour juice on it. Good thing these microfiber couches clean well. Staucie enjoyed playing on the sideways cushion and Parker wanted to join but got a little stuck. He couldn't quite make it up there.

Happy Mother's Day

Jeffrey R. Holland: "Mothers go longer on less sleep and give more to others with less personal renewal for themselves than any other group I know at any other time in life. It is not surprising when the shadows under their eyes sometimes vaguely resemble the state of Rhode Island."

Happy Mother's Day to all the women we know and love!

TEN MONTHS (tomorrow)

Can you believe it??? My baby will be 10 months old tomorrow! Where did the time go? Parker has just been growing way too fast. Having more then one kid sure makes the days, weeks, and months just fly by. Two more months and he will be a year old :(

Parker is such a sweet baby and we are so happy to have him in our little family. He is always smiling and sometimes barely makes a noise, but then other times he is just babbling away. He hardly cries, only when he gets hurt, and it has to be a big bonk to make him cry. He is always smiling, waving his arms up and down, and kicking his feet. He is starting to pull himself up to anything and everything that he can, and gets mad if he can't do it. He likes to get into everything that he can. He opens all the drawers and cupboards he can reach and pulls out whatever he can reach. Since he is still army crawling he can't get into much yet. I hope he wants to army crawl for awhile still. He likes to take things out of containers and then put it back in. He loves his dinosaur he sleeps with, and he LOVES to eat. He won't stop eating and so I have learned how much to give him so he won't throw it up later. He doesn't like to drink his bottles because it is boring so I have to hold a toy above him so he can have something to do. He sleeps very well throught the night, it is VERY rare that he wakes up and he takes 1-2 naps a day.

We love our Parker and we are so happy to have him!

Randomness

Is that a word??? I just thought I would post some random pictures we have taken lately...

Tyne took a picture of me trying to do Staucie's hair because she thought it was funny since Parker was trying to climb on me at the same time.
Parker likes to climb up everything now.
Staucie burried Aunt Tyne in pillows and gave her some toys and then climbed on top.
This one is hard to see with the sunlight in the back. This was after Lindsay and Jason's wedding festivities. Daniel is asleep on the pillows behind the kids. He said he was watching Cinderella with Staucie, but I beg to differ. I think this is the only picture I have of the kids in their wedding outfits that I worked SO hard to find, and Parker doesn't even have his pants on! They did not have a good day and ended up spending most of the day with my mom at home so they could nap. They both cried at the temple when we tried to take pictures and they did not make it to the luncheon afterwards. Oh well, it is how it goes!
Um, and this is Aunt Tyne in her hooker heels that her friend Tina bought her in New York. I told Tyne she is not aloud to wear them out of the house.

The Park

We went to the park this afternoon with Grandma Lees, Aunt Danielle, and Ellie. It was warm today and I thought it was going to be chilly. I think I got sun burnt. I did not prepare for good weather. I should have brought sun hats and sunscreen. Anyways, Grandma brought a ball, bubbles, and sidewalk chalk. The kids had fun. Parker thought the bubbles were hilarious and couldn't stop laughing. Ellie and Staucie went down the slides and went on the swings.

If you look closely you can see the big bubble that Staucie is chasing.
The girls loved watching Danielle feed the ducks.

Happy Parker.
We should have brought 2 balls... We had 2 two-year-olds. What were we thinking, ha ha!

Thanks Grandma Lees and Danielle and Ellie for inviting us to the park. Maybe Staucie will be less shy the next time we hang out. She was a WILD child tonight! Ellie, we hope your head doesn't hurt from your trip over the water fountain wall.

A Tuesday Night

After dinner tonight Staucie threw all the pillows from the couches on the floor like she does every day and night. She likes to jump on them, sit on them, and crawl under them. She makes Daniel hide under them, but then he doesn't come out... I think he sleeps. Parker likes to climb up the pillows too. Tonight he climbed in to find Daddy. He giggled the whole time. It was cery cute. He loves to climb over things and crawl under things.

He found Daddy!
Staucie did too!
Then when they were getting ready for bed, they climbed all over me.

Nine Months!

He is already nine months old. I took him to his doctor appointment yesterday and he weighed 18 pounds. I new he was getting heavier! The doctor said he was only in the 25% and I thought he would be higher up the scale, but I am comparing him to Staucie who was skinny. Anyways, I still think he is little. He is my little baby and I am sad to see him grow so fast. He is still army crawling everywhere in the house. He likes to crawl over and under anything he can. He likes to laugh and yell a lot. He likes it when we yell with him, he thinks it is pretty funny and mimicks the same sounds we do. He is eating everything I feed him now and sometimes seems to never stop! He loves his big sister and is already getting into anything he can reach. We love our little Parker!
